Field No 30 – Class<br />
<strong>PPECB</strong> <strong>EDiN</strong> WEB PORTAL – <strong>Technical</strong> <strong>Handbook</strong><br />
Identify the class of commodity that is packed on the pallet. The class code needs to be in this field.<br />
This is a 4 alpha numeric field. Only valid addendum class codes will be accepted, Class codes<br />

Field No 31 – Size / Count<br />
Identify the size or count of the commodity that is packed on the pallet. This is a 5 alpha numeric<br />
field and mandatory.<br />
Field No 32 – Pack Code<br />
Identify the pack code of the commodity that is packed on the pallet. This is a 4 alpha numeric field<br />
and mandatory.<br />
Field No 33 – Nett Mass<br />
Identify the declared mass (in kilograms) of the commodity including packaging material. The nett<br />
mass in the field must represent the mass of 1carton on the layer. This is a 5.2 decimal field and is<br />
mandatory.<br />
Field No 34 – Number of cartons<br />
Identify the number of cartons in the sequence/layer of pallet. This is a 5 numeric field and is<br />
mandatory.<br />
Field No 35 – Mixed_ind<br />
Indicate if multiple sequences/layers are on the pallet. This is a 1 character alpha field and is<br />
mandatory if not supplied in Field No 28.<br />
Field No 36 – Country of Origin<br />
Indicate country produce originates from; ISO country code must be supplied. This is a 2 character<br />
alpha numeric field and mandatory.<br />
