The Gulf of Lion: an unique natural <strong>la</strong>boratory. The Gulf of Lion (Figure 2) has appeared in the<br />
<strong>la</strong>st years as an unique natural <strong>la</strong>boratory to study both evolution and interaction of <strong>de</strong>ep processes<br />
(geodynamics, tectonics, subsi<strong>de</strong>nce, isostasy) and more surperficial processes (rivers behaviour,<br />
sedimentary <strong>flux</strong>es, sea-level changes, climate impact and evolution...) <strong>du</strong>e to a number a peculiar<br />
