Entrepreneurship – two-pronged:<br />

Bundeswehr University and MUAS<br />

sign cooperation agreement<br />

On 19 June, Bundeswehr University (UniBW) and<br />

MUAS – and their respective entrepreneurship Centers<br />

SCE and the Center for Technology and Innovation<br />

Management (CeTIM) – signed a cooperation agreement<br />

at a networking dinner.<br />

These four institutions agreed to further intensify<br />

their already long-standing cooperation within the<br />

framework of the 4Entrepreneurship initiative between<br />

Munich‘s four universities. The cooperation is aimed<br />

at improving mutual access to the institutions‘ respective<br />

research and entrepreneurship networks and at<br />

establishing a Center of Excellence for Innovation<br />

Management and Entrepreneurship in the Munich<br />

region.<br />

SCE and CeTIM have already been working closely<br />

together with the entrepreneurship Centers at<br />

Ludwig-Maximilian University (LMU EC) and TUM<br />

(UnternehmerTUM) under the 4Entrepreneurship initiative,<br />

and jointly running the Social Entrepreneurship<br />

Academy (www.seakademie.de). UniBW / CeTIM and<br />

MUAS / SCE are also research partners, and run the<br />

NITIM joint doctoral programme.<br />

The conference ended with a policy dialogue on the<br />

topic of “Innovation Ecosystems and their Future”.<br />

Attendees and prominent speakers from organisations<br />

including the OECD and European Commission discussed<br />

current issues and the future of innovation and<br />

entrepreneurship.<br />

The 19th annual ICE Conference <strong>2013</strong> will be held in<br />

The Hague from 24 to 26 June, with MUAS and SCE<br />

attending as guests this time.<br />
