Triangles in the Environment Dear Parent/Guardian: In math this week, we have been learning about different types of triangles. Your child has been sorting and classifying different types of triangles in class. Here is an opportunity for your child to demonstrate what he or she has learned. Ask your child to find different triangles in and around your home and between your home and the school. Then ask your child to describe the type of triangle, create a sketch, and describe the purpose of the triangle.
