Coupon Sequence and Use The ticket that you have purchased is only valid for the transportation specified on it- from the departure location via an Agreed sequence. The fare you have paid is based on our Tariff and has been calculated on the base of the travel dates and route sequence selected by you. Therefore, the calculated fare only applies to the transport/transport sequence specified on the ticket. If you do not use the flight coupons in the specified sequence, we will charge the applicable price for the travel route that you actually intend to take. In case of a change to the agreed flight routes and/or their sequence, you can only utilise unused coupons if you pay the difference (“extra charge”) between the price that you have already paid and the price for the transport actually selected at the time of booking. In case you have already used the first coupon of your journey no refund will be allowed for the open coupons. If you rebook before accession of the open coupons a rebooking according to our tariff rules will be possible. Excluded of the refund of coupons are journeys where all coupons are of our most flexible one-way fare. 5 Check-In and Boarding deadlines Check-in deadlines are different at every airport and depend on different factors, as for example the size and organisation of the airport, the amount of passengers, security checks, boarding times etc. Therefore we recommend that you inform yourself of them on time and to comply with the Check-In Deadlines. In particular we want to refer to the possibility of time-consuming security checks and queues. If you do not comply with the Check-In Deadlines specified by us, we may cancel your reservation. 5.1 Boarding We will inform you about the Boarding Deadline during the Check-In procedure. You must be present at the boarding gate not later than the time specified by us when you check in. We may cancel your reservation if you fail to arrive on time at the boarding gate. 5.2 Liability We do not assume liability for any damage arising from your failure to comply with the provisions of Article 5. 6 Limitation and Refusal of Carriage 6.1 Right to refuse carriage We may refuse to carry you or your Baggage on our flights if one of the following have occurred, or we have reason to believe it will occur: a. such action is necessary in order to comply with any applicable national or international regulations; or b. the carriage of you may endanger or affect the safety, health or materially affect the comfort of other passengers or crew; or c. you have refused to submit to a security check; or 10
d your physical or mental condition (including impairment by drugs, alcohol or medication) presents a hazard or risk to passengers or crew; or e you have committed misconduct on a previous flight, and we have reason to believe that such conduct may be repeated; or f you have not paid the entire fare including charges, fees, taxes, and fees charged subsequently; or g you are not in possession of a valid Ticket or the Ticket has been somehow manipulated, damaged, altered or issued by someone who is not authorised to do so; or h you present a Ticket that has been acquired unlawfully or has been reported stolen and you cannot prove that you are the person named in the Ticket; or i you cannot prove that you are the person named in the Ticket; or j if you fail to observe our instructions with respect to safety and security or other instructions; or k you do not appear to have valid travel documents for departure-, arrival-, transit- and possible alternative destination 6.2 Claims in case of denial of transport If a passenger is excluded from carriage due to the points of article 6.1 or if his seat reservation is cancelled for one of these reasons, he does not get any refunding. As for the rest, we are not liable for any damage arising from your failure to comply with one of the provisions of point 6. 6.3 Special assistance Acceptance of persons with illness, unaccompanied children, pregnant women, incapacitated persons or other people requiring special assistance is subject to express prior arrangement with us. 7 Baggage handling 7.1 Free baggage allowance and excess baggage You may carry some Baggage free of charge, subject to our conditions and limitations, which are available upon request from us, as well as from the Conditions of Contract printed in the Ticket. Acceptance of Baggage in excess of our stated free Baggage allowance is subject to prior arrangement with us. You will be required to pay a charge for carriage of such Baggage. 7.2 Items Unacceptable as Baggage You may not include in your baggage: a. items which are likely to endanger flight instruments, persons or property on board, in particular those specified in the “Dangerous Goods Regulations“ of ICAO (International Civil Aviation Association) and IATA (International Air Transport Association).
