time (326 plate appearances in four years) with <strong>the</strong> Royals, though his strikeout rate is trending in <strong>the</strong> wrong<br />
direction at Triple-A, rising from 15 percent <strong>of</strong> PAs in ’09 to 17 percent in ’10 to 21 percent this season.<br />
Good thing <strong>the</strong> A's decided to convert ’07 sandwich pick Sean Doolittle from first base to pitcher after knee<br />
injuries wiped out, essentially, <strong>the</strong> past two and a half seasons.
