While Ubaldo Jimenez ran up a 5.79 ERA in his first five starts for the Indians, Drew Pomeranz, the lead
prospect acquired by Colorado, had an emergency appendectomy on Aug. 20. Pomeranz pitched seven strong
innings (two hits, four whiffs, no walks) in his Rockies debut for Double-A Tulsa.
