Water, Sanitation and Health Access<br />

As shown in Table 33 below, boreholes serve as the primary source <strong>of</strong> water across <strong>Burkina</strong><br />

<strong>Faso</strong>, with the exception <strong>of</strong> Centre region. Traditional wells continue to be a main source <strong>of</strong><br />

drinking water <strong>for</strong> households in Nord and Boucle du Mouhoun. Time required by households to<br />

search <strong>for</strong> potable water is reported in Table 34.<br />
