The Chilean company Molibdenos y Metales S.A. (Molymet) is<br />
the world’s largest processor of molybdenum ore concentrates<br />
and rhenium. Molymet was set up in 1975 and first listed on<br />
the Santiago stock exchange in 1983. The company employs<br />
1,400 staff at six sites around the world. Molymet has long<br />
been one of the <strong>Plansee</strong> Group’s key suppliers.<br />
The <strong>Plansee</strong> Group has held a 10 percent share in Molymet<br />
since March <strong>2011</strong>. As its third largest shareholder, <strong>Plansee</strong> has<br />
a seat on Molymet’s board. <strong>Plansee</strong>’s involvement in Molymet<br />
is an important step towards securing the Group’s supply of<br />
