This large caliber tool uses the same<br />
cutter adjustment system as our Model 1000 Neck Turner, and each cutter<br />
is hand stoned high-speed tool steel for the best possible cut finish. A new<br />
Large Caliber Case Handle is furnished with each large caliber tool. Special<br />
large caliber Expander Dies and large caliber turning and expander mandrels<br />

<strong>Sinclair</strong> Generation II<br />
Expander Dies<br />
Expander dies are an essential companion to neck turning<br />
tools. They enable the expander mandrel to produce the<br />
correct fit of the case neck on the neck turning mandrel which<br />
is vital for accurate, easy neck turning. Expander dies and mandrels<br />
can also “iron out” dinged case necks, set consistent case neck size<br />
for uniform bullet tension or to “neck up” cases one caliber at a time<br />
for wildcat cartridges. Our Generation II Expander Dies completely<br />
capture the mandrel within the die so the mandrel cannot pull out.<br />
An O-ring in the die cap allows the mandrel to float a bit and find<br />
its own center within the case neck. All three Generation II dies are<br />
precision machined from stainless steel and the 7 ⁄8"-14 dies include<br />
the <strong>Sinclair</strong> Stainless Steel Split Lock Ring. Large caliber expander<br />
dies accept only .35 to .50 caliber mandrels. All single ended <strong>Sinclair</strong><br />
mandrels will fit the Generation II Expander Die.<br />

Tool employs an eccentric<br />
mechanism (not an eccentric<br />
mandrel) for quick cut<br />
depth adjustments which are<br />
accurate to .0001" with our<br />
carbide mandrels. The click<br />
adjustable cutter adjustment<br />
knob moves the cutter in either direction in .0002"<br />
to .00025" per click increments. Depth of cut can be adjusted a total of<br />
.004"-.005" using the laser engraved adjustment knob. The Premium Tool<br />
comes with three laser marked “feeler gages” which are used to quickly set<br />
the cutter depth to the approximate range of the cut desired, and a mandrel<br />
adjustment screw is included to make mandrel set up and adjustment easier.<br />
With the cutter in range using the feeler gages, the eccentric adjustment<br />
knob will make final adjustment for the exact cut thickness you desire. The<br />
ergonomic shape of the tool body makes it very comfortable to use and<br />
much less fatiguing over a long neck turning session.<br />

neck turning tool’s<br />
ergonomic exterior is a<br />
slightly scaled down version of our premium model and features fine (80<br />
threads per inch) adjustment on the cutter depth screw. The adjustment<br />
screw is engraved with hash-marks for easy fine-tune adjustment. Each mark<br />
on the adjustment screw corresponds to an approximate .001" change in<br />
cutting depth (.00104" to be exact), making it extremely easy to adjust well<br />
within .0005" of a specific neck wall diameter. Tool includes neck turning<br />
tool handle and utilizes the same high speed tool steel cutter as our other<br />
