BOOT CAMP AT<br />
PINK<br />
BESANT NAGAR<br />
Pink Besant Nagar conducted<br />
Boot camp (group activity) for<br />
their members. There was active<br />
participation and the response<br />
was great.<br />
The participants were divided<br />
into different groups; they were<br />
guided and monitored by the<br />
trainers. Boot camp started with<br />
proper warm up and stretches<br />
followed by cardio, floor exercises,<br />
strength training with free<br />
weights and strength machines<br />
and ended with cool down and<br />
post exercise stretches. Participants<br />
spent 15 minutes for each<br />
session. All the clients had a different<br />
experience on exercise<br />
from their regular schedule.<br />
Rain or shine,<br />
Pink is just fine,<br />
Skip <strong>one</strong> workout at pink,<br />
& ‘U’ don’t get to sleep a wink,<br />
When your spirit sink,<br />
The only solution is pink.<br />
If Ur stressed,<br />
If your mind & body feels distressed,<br />
For a better ‘U’ it is pink<br />
& Only pink for you!<br />
When your emotions<br />

CELEBRATIONS &<br />
PROGRAMS AT VELACHERY<br />
As part of the Christmas celebration, <strong>Fitness</strong>One, Velachery<br />
conducted Iron Women competition and balance test for kids<br />
at nearby apartment. One of the staff disguised as Santa played<br />
with kids and distributed chocolates and gifts to them. Prizes<br />
were distributed to the winners.<br />
WELLNESS PROGRAMME IN RESIDENTIAL FLATS<br />
<strong>Fitness</strong>One,Velachery conducted wellness program at a nearby<br />
apartment. There was a presentation on nutrition, diet and<br />
role of physiotherapy in fitness. Trainers demonstrated some<br />
basic stretch exercises, floor exercises and exercises with swiss<br />
ball. Kids participated in a playful activity and were given gifts.<br />
All the participant had an opportunity to know about their fitness<br />
score and BMI.<br />
When you face the Monday morning blue,<br />
Pink is obviously the ‘healthy’ clue.<br />
Stretch-ups & sweat outs, step-ups & rowing.<br />
Aerobics or aerobatics, all under <strong>one</strong> roof<br />
Who needs a better proof (for a lovely you).<br />
A bit of determination<br />
Lots of perspiration<br />
Both turn to gratification,<br />
When the weighing machine,<br />
Blinks merely at ‘U’,<br />
Showing a few pounds less!<br />
Its pink pink all the way,<br />
Come dance away & do not sway,<br />
