Appendix D: Apple iOS iTunes S<strong>of</strong>tware Update Process<br />
To update iOS s<strong>of</strong>tware via Apple iTunes <strong>the</strong> device owner currently follows <strong>the</strong>se steps:<br />
1. It is recommended that <strong>the</strong> latest version <strong>of</strong> iTunes is used to manage a connected<br />
s<strong>of</strong>tware update.<br />
2. With <strong>the</strong> iOS device connected to <strong>the</strong> personal computer running iTunes, <strong>the</strong> device<br />
owner can check for updates. If updates are available <strong>the</strong>y can download and install<br />
<strong>the</strong>m. See figures A5 and A6 for details.<br />
