There is also a notification that can appear through <strong>the</strong> BlackBerry Desktop S<strong>of</strong>tware<br />
informing <strong>the</strong> device owner that an updated version <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> BlackBerry device s<strong>of</strong>tware is<br />
available to download. – <strong>the</strong> new version number will be listed on <strong>the</strong> screen.<br />
Updates to BlackBerry Playbook users is achieved using an OTA service as detailed in<br />
Figure 2.7 below.<br />
