Resorts much to the delight of scores of middle
aged men with a penchant for loud Hawaiian
shirts and a love for spiked drinks and waitresses
in spiked heels.

SWEENEY: ON THE MONEY ABOUT REVEL, ATLANTIC CITY
Never one to mince words, Senate President Steve Sweeney called it straight
several months back when he said that the long struggling Revel needed new
management and he hit it out of the park last year when he said of Atlantic City:
“The city needs leadership. The city needs to get things done.” While neither
prophecy will spark a comparison between Sweeney and Nostradamus, Sweeney’s
blunt and succinct analysis of Atlantic City’s woes is a breath of fresh air from the
usual line up of our local talking heads whose own analysis and often misguided
optimism regarding what is really going on is more akin to rearranging the deck
chairs on the Titanic.
