Peridotites of Aptian-Albian age are observed in the Pyrenees at Bestiac,<br />

southeast of Tarascon (Peybernes, 1976). In this region the Aptian-Albian<br />

sediments are slightly metamorphosed.<br />

Alkaline intrusions (nepheline syenites) of Albian age occur in Corbier (Fig. 33).<br />
