In this stop (see p. 7 for locati<strong>on</strong>), the Eo-Cimmerian unc<strong>on</strong>formity eroded a gypsum bed that could be<br />

equivalent to the Heldburg Gypse (Fig. 33).<br />

Between the SE part <strong>of</strong> the basin to the NE the ‘Argiles de Chanvilles’ Fm is more and more<br />

developed (Fig. III.2), but less developed than in the centre part <strong>of</strong> the Paris Basin, where thicker anhydrite<br />

formati<strong>on</strong> occur.<br />
