of Goldenrod Ice Cream Co. of Chicago. He collected rare manuscripts of <strong>American</strong>a and<br />
Judaica <strong>American</strong>a, as well as art and jazz memorabilia. He was also a board member of the<br />
<strong>Jewish</strong> Publication Society. A long-term friendship between Sang and Glueck is attested by the<br />
materials collected in the AJA, Cincinnati. See Sang, Philip D., Nearprint Box—Biographies.<br />
Sang’s donations to HUC began in 1946 and continued until his death. He particularly supported<br />
the building program of the Jerusalem campus and early efforts to introduce the students to<br />
