Russia Evangelism/Literature .......................................42.30482 Russia is a vast country with eleven time zones. Of the 1.5 million people in the city of Chelyabinsk, less than 2 percent are practicing evangelicals. As the Church of God reaches out to the city and beyond, funds are needed for Bibles, Christian literature, and media. This project funds the purchase of these tools for evangelism, outreach, and materials for ongoing discipleship growth of new believers. (Annual Goal $600) *Russia New Church and Ministry Center . ...........................42.40430 In the northwest district of Chelyabinsk, Russia, stands a building-in-progress that will serve as a ministry training center from which the Church of God will minister locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally in areas in the 10/40 Window. Funds are needed to complete this ministry training center, which will give the church a stable home and the ability to launch new ministries and training, as well as reach into the local community and unto the ends of the earth. (Annual Goal $120,000. Total project need $200,000.) Serbia Serbia Church Development . ......................................42.30500 Serbia is currently dominated by strong nationalistic sentiment. The Church of God in Niš has been a target of persecution, but it faithfully continues to press on. Funds support the church and pastor Obrad Nikolić in continuing the work in Serbia. (Annual Goal $9,000) United Kingdom United Kingdom Church Development . .............................42.40529 A true revival is sweeping across the United Kingdom, and we have the privilege of partnering with the Church of God in this country, resulting in two new church plants in the last two years. These funds are used to strengthen the church in the United Kingdom through leadership development and various outreach events. (Annual Goal $1,500) Bulgaria Leadership and Church Development . ..................42.40088 Europe–Middle East Ignite Permeate Free Cultivate Refresh With a commitment to train resilient leaders and nurture strong and healthy congregations, a kingdom investment in the Church of God in Bulgaria provides needed funding to train and empower a new generation of church leaders in this former Soviet Bloc country. The Church of God in Bulgaria, with the assistance of David and Kathy Simpson (career missionaries with Global Missions), is working to equip its congregations to be salt and light in what is sometimes a hopeless and dark corner of the world. 32 www.chogmissions.org
