The campus ministries program is focused on providing opportunities for students’
spiritual formation and development by bringing speakers to campus for the chapel
programs and by providing small group opportunities.
99.WPC15 Missions@WP . ........................................$50,000
Warner Pacific College is rekindling students’ interest in and heart for missions
through the Missions@WP program. Students have opportunity to participate in
cross-cultural trips to South Dakota, Honduras, New Zealand, San Francisco, and
Tanzania, working with Children of Promise or Church of God missionaries.
99.WPC16 Urban Studies/Ministry Scholarship ........................$30,000
Warner Pacific College initiated an urban studies program in fall 2009. These funds
will support scholarships for students enrolled in the program who are preparing the
lead and serve in urban communities.
99.WPC17 Service Learning Program . ...............................$25,000
Warner Pacific College’s motto is “Where Faith and Scholarship Lead to Service.”
Students participate in service learning in co-curricular programs and in their academic
course work. Funds given support partnerships and administrative work required
to facilitate service learning opportunities.

Funding provides scholarships for students preparing for ministry.

Capital project to buy equipment for a recording studio adjacent to the music rehearsal
room in McGuire Hall.

Replacement of decades old amplification equipment in McGuire Auditorium.

Provides the opportunity for the college’s choir to tour and minister to Church of
God congregations in the Western Area Regional Ministerium (WARM).

Provides resources to help under resourced and under prepared students address
their academic preparation prior to and during their enrollment.
99.WPC23 Act Six Scholarship/Support . .............................$50,000
WPC will be awarding ten urban student leaders an innovative scholarship package
designed around infusing a new, diverse, student-driven leadership dialogue on
campus. Act Six is a leadership and scholarship program that equips emerging urban
leaders to engage the college campus and their communities in Portland.
