Compassionate Ministries

Funds from this project are used to alleviate hunger caused by unexpected circumstances,
often the result of famine, drought, war, or other catastrophes. Funds assist Church of God
constituency in hunger-stricken areas of the world. (Annual Goal $15,000)
Disaster Relief ...................................................45.04502
These funds enable both an immediate and a long-term response to major domestic and international
disasters affecting Church of God constituents or congregations. Past examples
include hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Wilma, and Ivan; 2005 Asian tsunami; Warner Southern
hurricane relief; Trinidad hurricane relief; tornado-affected areas in Texas; and such man-made
disasters as fire, arson, and destruction. The project also provides emergency food distribution
in response to disasters and long-term recovery efforts related to famine, drought, armed conflict,
and repair of damaged homes and buildings. (Annual Goal $120,000)

on a local radio station. Could you please send me more information about salvation by Jesus
Christ as I am a person who is completely ignorant about this. I have no religion, and I have no
knowledge of how to walk with him. When I heard your broadcast, it came to my mind and
heart the desire to communicate with you. I appreciate your attention to my letter and my
