It’s time to shift the focus of our story, and look now<br />

at the impressive array of local brands which make<br />

up the main body of the Nestlé <strong>Waters</strong> portfolio. The<br />

richness of this tier lies in its diversity: 59 brands<br />

in total. Individually, each brand is a much-loved<br />

and respected character in its region or country;<br />

collectively, they constitute the vast majority of our<br />

brands, present on five continents. Generating pride<br />

and loyalty among consumers, the reputations of<br />

these local brands stretch far beyond the immediate<br />

locality of the source w<strong>here</strong> they originate, without<br />

ever losing their strong sense of identity. Often they<br />

have become national favourites.<br />

T<strong>here</strong> are many features which our local brands share.<br />

The first common trait is the simple fact that they are<br />

all totally natural. Secondly, whether they are natural<br />

mineral waters or natural spring waters, all our local<br />

brands have strong links with a particular locality or<br />

region. Thirdly, they have all been selected, over time,<br />

to join the Nestlé <strong>Waters</strong> fold because of their great<br />

taste, their quality and their sustainability. Finally,<br />

all are valued partners in Nestlé <strong>Waters</strong>’ strategy to<br />

be the world’s leading healthy hydration company;<br />

offering safe, good tasting, reliable bottled water to<br />

consumers the world over.<br />
