Save your configuration to a local file<br />
Hyperterminal -> Transfer -> Capture Text -><br />
rx_start_day2.cfg<br />
sh running-config<br />
Hyperterminal -> Transfer -> Capture Text -> Stop<br />
Open text-file rx_start_day2.cfg<br />
prepare it as useful startup file for next lab day<br />
no shutdown on all interfaces<br />
will be sent later by “Hyperterminal -> Transfer -> Send Text-file”<br />
functionality<br />
this file should finally contain all the necessary start configuration<br />
for cisco lab day 2 for router Rx<br />
Before you continue<br />
let the resulting text-file be checked by your instructor<br />
Instructor will give you the OK to move on<br />

Erase Current Configuration<br />
(optional)<br />
Perform an erase of NVRAM<br />
Rx# erase startup-config<br />
Rx# sh startup-config<br />
Power off your router Rx<br />
Wait until all routers in the lab are powered off before you<br />
continue to the next steps<br />
