A person who for the selfsame deceitful purpose causes this type <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficial stamp or<br />
mark to be affixed on articles which are not suited for the purpose or who uses such<br />
articles shall be subject to the selfsame penalty.<br />
In case a person use for the same purpose articles nr to which a private stamp or mark has<br />
been incorrectly fixed or another mark which is intended to indicate some item<br />
concerning the article which is <strong>of</strong> importance in transactions, he/she will be subject to<br />
fines ? 1) or imprisonment for up to 1 year.<br />
The aforementioned penalty shall also be applied to a person who, intending to deceive in<br />
business, uses articles after a stamp, mark or another distinctive feature which had<br />
lawfully been affixed thereto has been removed or misrepresented.<br />

Art. 160 In case a person employ in his/her trade incorrect measuring equipment or<br />
weighing equipment for the purpose <strong>of</strong> deceiving others in business, this is subject to<br />
imprisonment for up to 2 years ? 1) In case <strong>of</strong> a major <strong>of</strong>fence and also if a person is<br />
repeatedly guilty <strong>of</strong> such an <strong>of</strong>fence, penalty may be rendered heavier up to 6 years<br />
imprisonment.<br />

Art. 161 Anyone using forged postage stamps, stamps or other such marks which are<br />
used to evidence payment <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficial dues shall be subject to imprisonment for up to 8<br />
years. A relatively more lenient penalty shall be applied to a person using a stamp or a<br />
postage stamp which has previously been used and after the mark relating to the use has<br />
been removed.<br />
It is subject to fines to fabricate, import or distribute articles the type and finish <strong>of</strong> which<br />
strongly resembles stamps, postage stamps or other marks denoting payment.<br />
Art. 162 Anyone misrepresenting evidence or presenting false evidence for the purpose<br />
<strong>of</strong> influencing the conclusion <strong>of</strong> a Lawsuit shall be subject to imprisonment for up to 2<br />
years. [In case <strong>of</strong> mitigating circumstances, provided that the <strong>of</strong>fence be not subject to a<br />
more severe penalty under Law, fines or imprisonment for up to 1 year may be applied.] 1)<br />
Anyone destroying evidence, withholding or rendering it entirely or to some extent<br />
useless in order to impair or forfeit the rights <strong>of</strong> others shall be subject to imprisonment<br />
for up to 2 years ? 1)
