A July 15, 2011 planning meeting, in Goldsboro, refocuses and renews the leadership of The Unity Dialogue. December 8, 2011/United Methodist Building/Garner, NC The group discusses the most recent debates within The United Methodist Church on homosexuality. This includes the Council of Bishops (COB), the statement by the retired bishops, and the then-recent COB meeting. March 22, 2012/Fairmont United Methodist Church/Raleigh, NC General Conference 2012 and Rev. Rufus Stark's proposal on holy friendship are discussed. August 30, 2012/United Methodist Building/Garner, NC The group discusses what happened at General Conference 2012 and in the Amendment One vote in North Carolina, and what will probably happen at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte with regard to the matter of homosexuality.
