• In Italy, Arval has established a partnership<br />

with Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze. In<br />

Switzerland, Arval acquired 50% of a local longterm<br />

rental company.<br />

• Following its initial foray into Belgium in<br />

1991, followed by entry into Spain and<br />

Luxembourg, Arval established a presence in<br />

Portugal last year. Marketing agreements were<br />

also signed in Great Britain, Germany, and The<br />

Netherlands, as well as in Canada and Mexico.<br />
