Since then, the <strong>College</strong> has introduced new programs<br />
in the Media Arts and Design department, including the<br />
innovative Game Arts and Design program. The <strong>College</strong><br />
has also added two additional business degrees, Business<br />
Administration and Entrepreneurship, as well as an<br />
additional degree in technology, Information Security.<br />
Pioneering the use of online technology, the <strong>College</strong><br />
developed its FlexLearn ® instructional delivery method,<br />
introduced in January, 2002. FlexLearn ® means flexible<br />
learning! FlexLearn ® students complete their degrees taking<br />
a combination of online and campus-based courses. If the<br />
past is any indication of the future, <strong>Mt</strong>. <strong>Sierra</strong> <strong>College</strong> will<br />
continue its pattern of innovative curriculum development.<br />
A Quick Tour of the Campus<br />
<strong>Mt</strong>. <strong>Sierra</strong> <strong>College</strong> has developed a campus that simulates,<br />
as closely as possible, the environment in which students<br />
will be working as they enter the professional world. <strong>Mt</strong>.<br />
<strong>Sierra</strong> <strong>College</strong> moved to its current campus in the Spring<br />
of 1999. The growth of the <strong>College</strong> has kept pace with<br />
the steady growth of its educational programs and the<br />
employment opportunities that exist for its students.<br />
<strong>Mt</strong>. <strong>Sierra</strong> <strong>College</strong> offers over 30,000 square feet of space<br />
dedicated to student learning. The <strong>College</strong> provides<br />
laboratory and traditional classroom instruction in spacious<br />
and efficient classrooms. Classes range in size from a<br />
maximum of 50 students in some lower-division courses,<br />
to as few as 5 students in many upper-division courses.<br />
Classrooms and labs are networked using the latest in<br />
wired and wireless technology. This connectivity gives<br />
students and faculty easy access to software applications<br />
provided by the <strong>College</strong> and worldwide access to the<br />
Internet.<br />
