2.1 3.5" Type Controller Enclosure<br />

Figure 2.6 shows the <strong>ETERNUS</strong> <strong>DX60</strong>/<strong>DX80</strong> Fibre Channel model controller.<br />

SCU STATUS LED<br />

Glows green ( ) when SCU is normal.<br />

Blinks green ( ) when being charged<br />

(for about one minute after the device power is turned on).<br />

IDENTIFY LED<br />

Blinks blue ( ) or turns off ( ) as ordered via GUI to<br />

identify the enclosure installation locations.<br />

SAS (DE) LINKUP LED<br />

Glows green ( ) when link has been established.<br />

LAN port (1000Base-T/100Base-TX/10Base-T)<br />

(RMT port (left), MNT port (right))<br />

RJ45 connectors for LAN cables<br />

Each controller has two such ports.<br />

FC LINKUP/FAULT LED<br />

Glows green ( ) when data is being sent and received.<br />

Glows orange ( ) when a fault has been detected<br />

in the Fibre Channel port.<br />

Fibre Channel ports 0 (left), 1 (right)<br />

Dual LC connectors for Fibre Channel cables.<br />

UNIT READY/FAULT LED<br />

Glows green ( ) during normal operation.<br />

Glows orange ( ) during the post power on<br />

initialization phase. Also glows orange ( ) to<br />

indicate a fault has been detected.<br />

MASTER LED<br />

Glows green ( ) when the controller is set<br />

as the Master CM.<br />

PWC port<br />

This is not used.<br />

ACT LED<br />

Glows green ( ) when data is being sent and received.<br />

LINK LED<br />

Glows green ( ) when link has been established.<br />

SAS (OUT) port<br />

Connector for a miniSAS cable<br />

Used to connect the Controller Enclosure to a Drive Enclosure.<br />
