Chapter 2<br />

Setting Long Time Exposure<br />

In Landscape mode, use Long Time Exposure to control how long the shutter<br />

stays open and to portray a sense of motion. Settings range from 0.7 to 4<br />

seconds.<br />

NOTE: Long Time Exposure cannot be used with Exposure Compensation or<br />

manual ISO speed setting.<br />

When using Long Time Exposure, ISO speed is set to Auto with an<br />

automatic value of 100.<br />

Set Long Time Exposure<br />

1 Turn the Mode dial to Landscape .<br />

2 Press the Menu button.<br />

3 Press to highlight Long Time<br />

Exposure , then press the OK button.<br />

4 In any Still mode, press the Menu button.<br />

5 Press to select an option, then press<br />

the OK button.<br />

6 Press the Menu button to exit the menu.<br />

Take the Picture<br />

1 Place the <strong>camera</strong> on a flat surface or use a tripod.<br />

2 Use the <strong>camera</strong> screen to frame your subject. Press the Shutter button<br />

half-way and hold to set the focus. Press the rest of the way down<br />

to take the picture.<br />

This setting remains until you change the Mode dial or turn off the<br />

<strong>camera</strong>.
