MEASAT 3A<br />
June 2009<br />
MEASAT 3A has been designed to be co-located<br />
with MEASAT 3 at 91.5 EAST. The <strong>satellite</strong> will<br />
provide 12 high-powered C-band transponders<br />
providing coverage across a region bounded<br />
by Africa and Eastern Europe in the West,<br />
through to Japan and Australia in the East, and<br />
12 high-powered Ku band transponders for DTH<br />
in Malaysia and Indonesia over a 15 year minimum<br />
service life. This <strong>satellite</strong> will be launched<br />
by a Zenith 3.
