Tibet to embrace vehicle emission control pilot projects this year (Jan.11<br />

A pilot project on vehicle emission control will start in Lhasa this year, under<br />

the supervision of environment department. This will be the first vehicle<br />

emission control project in Tibet.<br />

40.3 million m2’ building are in Beijing to be reformed to raise energy efficiency<br />

until 2010 (Jan.10 <strong>2008</strong>)<br />

According to the newly released Beijing Building Energy Efficiency<br />

Reformations Special Action Plan, until 2010, 4030 million sqm’ building will be<br />

reformed. 70% of the gas and coal boilers, 70% of heat supply chains and 35%<br />

of livelihood building’s heat meters will be reconstructed.<br />

General Biodiesel Brings Four Projects to <strong>China</strong> (Jan. 10 <strong>2008</strong>)<br />

The US new-energy firm General Biodiesel plans to launch four projects in<br />

Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Wenzhou of East <strong>China</strong>'s Zhejiang<br />

Province, said company CEO Yale W. Wong in Beijing yesterday.<br />
