INSTITUTION ESTABLISHED BY<br />

FONGTIL was established by fourteen Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in 1998. After<br />

the referendum in 1999, FONGTIL became an independent member based organisation acting as<br />

the umbrella body for both National and International Non-Government Organizations<br />

operating in Timor-Leste<br />

b) To work towards ensuring that the people of Timor-Leste are free from all forms of injustice,
