Letter to the Alumni Association
Dear Fellow Alumni of Texas Wesleyan
School of Law:
Over the past 20 years, our law school has
evolved into a community of leaders. Our law
school has been tremendously successful,
and we look forward to many wonderful
celebrations in our 20 th year and future years.
As an alumna, I know you are grateful for
the outstanding education you received at Texas Wesleyan
School of Law. Each one of us has a standard to uphold as we
continue to walk in the footsteps of those who were leaders
and students before us.
I am extremely proud of our law school and its great successes.
Our law school is exceptional and an invaluable resource
for the legal community. It pleases me to see the increased
recognition Texas Wesleyan School of Law is receiving
nationally and in our local community. I am truly honored to
serve as your alumni association president.
This has been a difficult year for many of us and our families
with the current state of the economy. Even in these difficult
times, our alumni are giving back to the law school in record
numbers. Alumni who have never given before are making
donations. This is a wonderful tribute to Texas Wesleyan
School of Law. It shows that even in adversity our law
school is strong. I thank all of you for your contributions
and donations.
Your alumni association board is here for you. We need your
input to define those opportunities that we want to accomplish
as an alumni association. You may contact me or any board
member directly. I invite all of you to get involved with our
committees. We have many exciting events and projects
planned but cannot accomplish our goals without the help of
fellow alumni. Because we are a young alumni association, we
have great opportunities to get involved on the “ground floor.”
Your involvement and feedback will pave the way for future
alumni. Even if you cannot get directly involved, there are
many ways to give back, including attending alumni events
such as luncheons and events for the 20 th anniversary.
I look forward to your participation in our alumni
association and appreciate your ongoing support of the
