Developer 3.1A<br />

Ordered separately from <strong>Runtime</strong> 3R1A <strong>for</strong> <strong>ClearPath</strong> <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong>, Developer 3.1A is a<br />

generic PC-based Windows development environment providing the capability to:<br />

• Define, design, develop, and test a new Enterprise Application System.<br />

• Import and re-engineer or enhance an existing Enterprise Application System<br />

downloaded from a <strong>Runtime</strong> host (<strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong>, MCP, <strong>ClearPath</strong> HMP Servers or UNIX).<br />

• Export an Enterprise Application System <strong>for</strong> uploading to another <strong>Runtime</strong> host <strong>for</strong><br />

generation and deployment.<br />

<strong>Runtime</strong> Test Environment 4R1 <strong>for</strong> <strong>ClearPath</strong> <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong><br />

<strong>Runtime</strong> Test Environment 4R1 runs on Unisys’ plat<strong>for</strong>m, <strong>ClearPath</strong> <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong>. It runs<br />

against <strong>Runtime</strong> 3R1A <strong>for</strong> <strong>ClearPath</strong> <strong>OS</strong> <strong>2200</strong> and Host Builder 3R1A <strong>for</strong> <strong>ClearPath</strong> <strong>OS</strong><br />

<strong>2200</strong>.<br />

The <strong>Runtime</strong> Test Environment enables developers to test new and changed Ispecs and<br />

Reports without requiring generates. This is because <strong>Runtime</strong> Test Environment gathers<br />

in<strong>for</strong>mation directly from the Specification held in Enterprise Application Builder. It then<br />

runs the System according to this in<strong>for</strong>mation.<br />
