- Road infrastructure: Vinci Concessions currently operates or is building over 1<strong>000</strong> km of<br />

motorways, together with road, bridges and tunnels, in 7 <strong>Euro</strong>pean Union countries and also in<br />

Russia and Canada. Its constant concern is to optimise the operation of the infrastructure so as to<br />

satisfy users to the highest possible levels.<br />

- Parking: Vinci Park, operator in parking facilities, is active in 13 countries, mainly in <strong>Euro</strong>pe and<br />

North America, with 1,514,<strong>000</strong> on-road and off-road parking spaces (in 2,600 car parks), under<br />

nearly 2,500 concessions or service contracts.<br />

- Rail infrastructure: In France, VINCI Concessions holds the concessions for the SEA Tours-<br />

Bordeaux high-speed line, the GSM-Rail digital communication network and the Rhônexpress link<br />

between Lyon city centre and the airport. In Belgium, it holds the concession for the Liefkenshoek<br />

underground rail tunnel in the port of Antwerp.<br />

- Stadiums: In France, VINCI Stadium will be the future operator of the new Nice and Bordeaux<br />

stadiums and the Dunkerque arena under partnership contracts, and is developing a network of<br />

sports and cultural facilities. It also holds the concession and operation contracts for the Stade de<br />

France in Saint Denis, near Paris, and the MMArena in Le Mans.<br />

Contracting<br />

The Contracting business of VINCI is divided into three main divisions, VINCI Energies, <strong>Euro</strong>via and<br />

VINCI Construction.<br />

In recent years, the Group has focused on building up its Contracting business, with such major deals as the<br />

acquisitions of Soletanche Bachy, Entrepose Contracting and Taylor Woodrow in Construction; of ETF (rail<br />

sector works) and Tarmac (quarry products) in Roads; and of Etavis, Cegelec and GA Gruppe in Energy. A<br />

major focus of external growth in Contracting will be VINCI Energies Business activities along with highly<br />

technical activities with global applications, such as specialized civil engineering, and oil and gas<br />

infrastructure.<br />

Simultaneously, in all areas of the Contracting business, VINCI will continue to put down ever deeper local<br />

roots in the fastest-growing markets, while bolstering the skills and resources required for the management<br />

and execution of large projects.<br />

In 2012, the Contracting business of VINCI represented a turnover of € 33,090 million and an operating<br />

profit <strong>from</strong> ordinary activities of € 1,403 million corresponding to 4.2 per cent. of the turnover.<br />

VINCI Energies: Vinci Energies combines expertise in its own technology areas - electrical power,<br />

heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical engineering, and information and<br />

communication technologies- with expert knowledge of its customer’ businesses. It leverages these<br />

capabilities to develop high value added solutions to address customers’ demands for efficiency,<br />

reliability and safety. These solutions support customers throughout their projects' lifecycle, <strong>from</strong><br />

project engineering and execution to maintenance, operation and facilities management. Thanks to<br />

an exceptionally dense network of 1,500 business units in 45 countries, 25 of them outside <strong>Euro</strong>pe,<br />

VINCI Energies combines global reach with local service. As a key player in energy efficiency and<br />

renewable energy, VINCI Energies’ capacity to integrate complex systems is a key component of<br />

VINCI’s overall offer.<br />

In 2012, VINCI Energies represented a turnover of € 9,017 million and an operating profit <strong>from</strong><br />

ordinary activities of € 502 million corresponding to 5.6 per cent. of the turnover.<br />

<strong>Euro</strong>via: <strong>Euro</strong>via is a multimodal construction firm that has built its leadership on integrated<br />

contracting and materials production and a broad diversity of expertise, spanning:<br />

- Transport and urban development infrastructure: <strong>Euro</strong>via builds and upgrades roads<br />

and motorways, rail and light rail systems, as well as airports and industrial and retail<br />

complexes. It also possesses know-how in related areas, including demolition and<br />
