<strong>Summer</strong> Sunset Cruise on the Hudson<br />
Friday, August 9 from 7 to 10 p.m.<br />
Cold Spring Boat Club, Cold Spring, NY. Take a one-night vacation on the Hudson<br />
River during the <strong>Summer</strong> Sunset Cruise. We’ll cruise on the River Rose, a<br />
150-passenger replica of a Mississippi River Boat, which is renowned on the river<br />
and will provide a wonderful position to view the beautiful Hudson Highlands.<br />
This wonderful evening includes gourmet dinner buffet, three hour open bar, music<br />
and dancing, silent and live auctions, Cruise from 7-10 p.m. and let the water<br />
take you on a one-night vacation on the majestic Hudson River. $125 per person.<br />

Three-day meditation retreat in the tranquil environment of Chuang Yen Monastery,<br />
2020 Route 301, Carmel, NY. Meditation on breath is the most popular meditation<br />
method. It purify one’s mind and stay in a mental state with joy. As a result,<br />
it can remove unwholesome thoughts and calms down the mind. This technique<br />
of meditation can be applied to concentration meditation or Insight meditation. It<br />

Flower Pounding Workshop<br />

Locally grown beautiful flowers from Southeast’s Ryder Farm will be used in this<br />
flower pounding workshop. See what colors emerge as you hammer flowers into<br />
fabric! Learn to make a work of art using fresh flowers and a clever fabric technique<br />
and also learn about the Ryder Farm. The farm has been in the Ryder family since<br />
1795 and spans 126 acres of lush landscape, ponds numerous historical structures.<br />
