YOGA with a View Mondays from June 3 to September 9 from 6 to 7:15 p.m. This program provides the perfect opportunity to connect with the outdoors while, at the same time, gaining a sense of good health and wellbeing. Spectacular views entice the senses as you stretch and pose overlooking the Hudson River from the lawns at Boscobel, one of the most picturesque settings in the Hudson Valley. Taught by local instructor, Ellen Forman, this class fits the needs of all levels. Ellen emphasizes the inward journey and the profound healing effects of yoga on the mind, body and spirit; yoga’s numerous benefits include improved flexibility, endurance and strength. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own mats and water. $17 Walk-in. Program runs through September 9. The Monday Evening Book Group Monday, June 3 at 7:30 p.m. The Monday Evening Book Group meets on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. New members are always welcome. Generations at Work: Managing a Multi-Generational Workforce Wednesday, June 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Putnam Community Service Network (PCSN), an educational outreach program of Cornell Cooperative Extension, will sponsor a workshop that will focus on understanding the four generations in the workforce: Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Gen X, and Gen Y: who they are, what they want and how to leverage their diverse talents. The program will be held at Mahopac Library, 668 Rt. 6, Mahopac, NY with a $30 registration fee. It is designed for Executive Directors, Human Resource officers, Program Managers, and Supervisors.
