Appendix D: Structure of the attached CD<br />

The folder structure of the attached CD is briefly explained in this section. The root<br />

folder of the CD also contains this report as a Microsoft Word and PDF document.<br />

/ParallelJavaGpssSimulator<br />

This is the main folder of the parallel simulator. It contains all the files required to run<br />

the simulator as described in 5.4.2. It also contains some of the folders mentioned<br />

below.<br />

/ParallelJavaGpssSimulator/bin<br />

The folder structure within this folder contains all the binary Java class files of the<br />

parallel simulator. The same Java class files are also included in the main JAR file of<br />

the simulator.<br />

/ParallelJavaGpssSimulator/doc<br />

This folder contains the full JavaDoc documentation of the parallel simulator. The<br />

JavaDoc documentation can be viewed by opening the index.html file within this folder<br />

in a Web browser. It describes the source code of the parallel simulator and is generated<br />

from comments within the source code using the JavaDoc tool.<br />

/ParallelJavaGpssSimulator/src<br />

The src folder contains the actual source code of the parallel simulator, i.e. all the java<br />

files.<br />

/ParallelJavaGpssSimulator/validation<br />

This folder contains a sub-folder for each validation. All files required to repeat the<br />

validation runs can be found in these sub-folders, including simulation models,<br />

configuration and all the output log files of the validation runs described in section 6.<br />

The validation runs can be performed directly from these folders.<br />

/ProActive<br />

This additional folder contains the compressed archive of the ProActive version used.
