Women’s ice hockey made its sixth annual trip to Thomas<br />

Hooker Elementary School in Meriden, Conn. to read to<br />

over 400 students in over 20 classrooms.<br />

November 28: Men’s basketball freshman Ed Zajac totaled<br />

17 points and 15 rebounds as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> defeats Lehigh,<br />

92-88 in double overtime.<br />

November 29: Women’s basketball junior Mandy Pennewell<br />

scored a game-high 15 points as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> beat<br />

Stony Brook, 58-41.<br />

DECEMBER<br />

December 1: Women’s basketball junior Erin Kerner scored<br />

a season-high 24 points and made four three-pointers to<br />

lead <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> to an 85-66 road victory over Holy Cross.<br />

Women’s ice hockey junior Erika Bolognino scored her<br />

second goal of the year while Jamie Miller stopped 34<br />

shots-on-goal as the Bobcats skate to a 1-1 tie with Colgate.<br />

Men’s ice hockey freshman Zach Hansen scored the gamewinner<br />

as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> beat #18 RPI, 3-2.<br />

December 4: Men’s basketball freshman Ed Zajac was<br />

named the Choice Hotels/ NEC Rookie of the Week.<br />

December 5: Women’s basketball junior Erin Kerner had<br />

a game-high 22 points while Mandy Pennewell scored 19<br />

points as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> topped St. Francis (N.Y.), 74-56, in the<br />

Bobcats’ NEC opener.<br />

December 6: Men’s basketball senior DeMario Anderson<br />

scored 25 points while also collecting 11 rebounds as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong><br />

downs St. Francis (N.Y.), 90-79, in NEC opener.<br />

December 7: Eric Lampe, Ben Nelson, Mike Atkinson and<br />

David Marshall all scored as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> defeated Robert<br />

Morris, 4-2.<br />

December 8: Women’s basketball senior Monique Lee<br />

picked up her second double-double of the season with 15<br />

points and 10 rebounds as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> beat La Salle, 65-64.<br />

Eric Lampe scored twice to lead men’s ice hockey to a 5-1<br />

win over Robert Morris.<br />

December 9: Men’s indoor track junior Tyler Dinnan won<br />

the 5,000 Meter race at the Yale <strong>University</strong> Indoor Track<br />

Season Opener.<br />

Men’s basketball junior Brian Geffen scored a team-high 16<br />

points as <strong>Quinnipiac</strong> defeated Army, 58-54.<br />

Women’s indoor track junior Lindsey Pierret also won the<br />

5,000 Meter race at the Yale <strong>University</strong> Indoor Track Season<br />

Opener.<br />

December 10: Men’s basketball freshman Evann Baker won<br />

his second Choice Hotels/NEC Rookie of the Week award.<br />

Women’s basketball junior Erin Kerner was named the<br />

Choice Hotels/NEC Player of the Week.<br />

Men’s ice hockey senior Ben Nelson was named the ECAC<br />

Hockey Player of the Week.<br />

December 12: Men’s soccer head coach Eric Da Costa was<br />

named the NSCAA/North Atlantic Regional Coach of the<br />

Year.<br />

December 13: Men’s soccer junior Graciano Brito was<br />

named to the NSCAA/North Atlantic Regional First Team<br />

while sophomore Freddy Hall was named to the Second
