Men’s basketball senior DeMario Anderson scored 24 points
while freshman Evann Baker had 21 as Quinnipiac knocked
off Monmouth, 71-58.
Men’s ice hockey junior goalie breaks the Quinnipiac career
shutout record with his eighth all-time in a 3-0 win over
Yale.
January 14: Men’s basketball senior DeMario Anderson was
named the Choice Hotels/NEC Player of the Week.
Women’s basketball junior Mandy Pennewell led five
Bobcats in double-figures with 28 points as the Bobcats tied
the third-highest scoring output in program history to defeat
Mount St. Mary’s, 109-72.
January 16: Women’s basketball received one vote, for the
first time in program history, in the USA Today/ESPN Division
I Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Poll.
January 17: Men’s basketball senior DeMario Anderson
rattled home 24 points while freshman Evann Baker netted
15 as Quinnipiac defeated St. Francis (N.Y.), 75-72.
January 19: Men’s indoor track junior Tyler Dinnan won the
1 Mile Run at the University of New Hampshire Dual Meet.
Women’s indoor track junior Chelsea Bollerman also won
the 1000 Meter run in the race.
Men’s basketball sophomore James Feldeine scored 18
points, including eight in the final three minutes, to lead
Quinnipiac to an 84-80 victory over Long Island at the TD
Banknorth Sports Center.
Women’s basketball junior Erin Kerner scored 25 points
on her way to her 1,000th career point in a 62-60 win over
Long Island.
Men’s ice hockey extends their unbeaten streak to 10 games
with a 5-2 win over Holy Cross. The streak is Quinnipiac’s
longest in Division I history.
January 21: Men’s basketball senior DeMario Anderson won
his second straight Choice Hotels/NEC Player of the Week
award.
Women’s basketball junior Erin Kerner dropped in 21
points, including 17 in the second half, as Quinnipiac defeated
St. Francis (N.Y.), 57-44.

January 21: Men’s ice hockey was ranked 12th in the
USCHO.com/CSTV Division I Poll, 10th in the InsideCollegeHockey.com
poll and 12th in the USA Today/USA
Hockey Magazine Poll, their highest rankings all-time in
Quinnipiac history.
January 26: At the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston
University, Tyler Dinnan ran a personal best time of
8:25.97 to qualify for the IC4A Championships.
January 29: Junior Chelsea Bollerman was named the
Northeast Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week
after qualifying for the ECAC Championships in the 1 Mile
Run at the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University.
Field hockey senior Megan Dahle was named the Northeast
Conference Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Dahle, who is majoring in interactive communications,
posted a perfect 4.0 grade-point-average.
Cross country sophomore Kristen Stevens was named the
2007 Northeast Conference Cross Country Scholar-Athlete
of the Year. Stevens, a physical therapy major, posted a
3.69 grade-point-average.
January 30: Men’s soccer senior Danilo Schiavon was
selected by the Philadelphia KiXX of the Major Indoor
Soccer League College Draft with the 25th overall pick of
the draft.
January 31: Men’s basketball freshman Evann Baker
scored a team-high 17 points and senior DeMario Anderson
