MODELS WITH MANUAL STARTER<br />
Apply key to ignition swithc and turn it “ON” position.<br />
Pull smoothly the slack from the starter rope, and then pull strongly. Return the rope by<br />
holding the handle. Faulty proceeding may damage the starter.<br />
NOTE: Do not apply gas when starting.<br />
STARTING WITH ELECTRIC STARTER (some models)<br />
Turn the key in ignition switch to clockwise direction, until starter engages.<br />
Release key immediately when engine has started.<br />
NOTE: If electric starter for some reason can not be used, apply key to “ON” position and<br />
use manual starter.<br />
WARNING!<br />
Electric start models only: never charge or boost battery while installed on<br />
snowmobile.<br />
STOPPING THE ENGINE/TETHER CUT-OUT SWITCH<br />
Engine stops when the ignition key/the stop button is turned into STOP-position or when<br />
the emergency switch lock is pulled off or when the emergency switch on right handle is<br />
pushed down.<br />
WARNING!<br />
The snowmobile engine can be stopped by activating the emergency cut-out button,<br />
pulling the tether cord or turning the key.<br />
