TRACK TENSION AND ALIGNMENT<br />

NOTE: We recommend you to visit authorized LYNX-service point for checking track tension.<br />

They use belt tension tester (P/N 414 348 200).<br />

A belt tension tester may be used to measure deflection as well as force applied.<br />

Track adjustment<br />

1. 7,3 kg<br />

2. Deflection<br />

NOTE: Ride the snowmobile in snow about 15-20 minutes prior to adjusting track tension.<br />

Lift rear of snowmobile and support it with a snowmobile mechanical stand.<br />

Allow the suspension to extend normally and check gap half-way along slider shoe.<br />

The gap should be as given in the specification section of this guide.<br />

If the track tension is too loose, track will have tendency to thumb.<br />
