Tools to convert data between ASCII-files and ESRI-shape files + AUTOCAD DXF
files
1. Introduction
The Data Conversion Tools are programs written in C reading a file without changing it. If you
don’t specify a output filename using the ‘-o’-option the output filename will be generated
automatically from the input filename or the output is directed to stdout. The data conversion
tools can be found in the /bin directory. Typing the name of the conversion tool
without a specified input file, a help text is displayed explaining the usage of the tool.
