BEST SCENERY PURCHASES Scenery on gaming tables plays an important role. Not only does it bring the table to life, it also provides the players with greater tactical challenges. You can have great fun building your own scenery in the club, but we would recommend investing in a couple of the following to get you started. Trees and Hedges (1.) Trees and hedges are usable on any battlefield – even in the far future there will be planets with trees! This set contains a selection of trees and hedges, including: two large trees, six medium trees and two hedge sections. These all come ready to use. Product Code 99229999068 Gaming Hill (2.) As with trees, hills can be used for all game systems. This pack contains one hill. This needs assembling and painting. Product Code 99129999004 Citadel Battlemat (3.) This 6' x 4' gaming mat provides a quick and easy way to make a battlefield, no matter where you are playing. The clothbacked mat can be used in conjunction with our terrain sets to create an instant and effective-looking battlefield, and can be folded away after the game for ease of Realm of Battle Gameboard The Realm of Battle Gameboard is Citadel’s high quality, plastic, modular gaming surface. If you are going to have a go at building your own scenery pieces then you will need some Modelling Sand and Static Grass, Scorched Grass or Glade Grass to put onto the bases. It is best to use sand as your main base, then you can add one of the different types of grass to create a natural look. If you would like help with basing or scenery projects, the staff at your local Games Workshop store will be pleased to show you some ideas and tips. 1.
