• Lack of meaningful employment makes it difficult for one to sustain the
orphaned children
• Purchasing of clothing for children is difficult because of the economic
problems they are facing
• Education expenses: secondary school
• Poor shelter
• Seek divine intervention through prayers
• Borrowing from friends.
• Relatives who are better off are asked for assistance.
• Through travelers coming on foot
• Through matatus
• They spend on food, milk, vegetables, and meat.
• Also spend on clothing
