To connect your CRD 1700-1000M to your computer:
1. Turn off your computer and plug the cable from the RJ-45
port on the cradle into the serial communications port on your
computer.
Tip:
Your CRD 1700-1000M requires a dedicated port. It
cannot share a port with an internal modem or other
device. If you are unsure about the location of the serial
port on your computer, refer to the user’s manual supplied
with the computer.
2. To connect power, connect
one end of the line cord to
the power port on the back of
the cradle, and the other end
into the power supply, as
shown. Connect the other
end of the cable from the
power supply to a wall outlet.
