Sunday<br />

We rendezvous in glorious Vicenza to wander the<br />

streets and visit Palladio’s stunning Teatro<br />

Olimpico. A brief visit to La Rotonda before we<br />

drive to Asiago for our Welcome Drink and Dinner.<br />

Overnight: Asiago, Hotel Europa Residence<br />

Monday<br />

We explore the site of the WWl Battle of Asiago,<br />

and walk through woods and open countryside to<br />

Fort Corbin and lunch in a nearby village. We<br />

continue to the fascinating mountain village of<br />

Tresche Conca in the foothills of the Dolomites.<br />

Dinner in a local pizzeria.<br />

Tuesday<br />

We meander on a gentle uphill track, through<br />

woods of spruce and larch, with panoramic views.<br />

We lunch on local products at a farm where the<br />

famous Asiago cheese is made. <strong>The</strong> afternoon walk<br />

is dominated by views over Asiago as we walk<br />

down from the plateau to our hotel.<br />

Wednesday<br />

We walk to the charming medieval town of<br />

Marostica, surrounded by the ancient walls of its<br />

castles, for lunch in a renowned trattoria. At<br />

Bassano del Grappa we stroll the ancient streets<br />

and visit the Nardini Distillery to taste the famous<br />

grappa.<br />

Overnight: Asolo, Albergo al Sole<br />

Thursday<br />

We visit Palladio’s Villa Barbaro before lunch in a<br />

local trattoria. In the afternoon, we drive to the<br />

magnificent Villa Pisani. After a short visit, we<br />

board our private launch for a cruise across the<br />

lagoon to the very heart of the city of Venice, an<br />

unforgettable arrival in La Serenissima. Dinner at a<br />

local restaurant.<br />

Overnight: Venice, Londra Palace Hotel<br />

Friday<br />

We stroll through the bustling alleyways and along<br />

the quays - to board our private launch to Burano,<br />

an island in the archipelago,<br />

famous for its lace-making,<br />

and lunch in a local<br />

trattoria. Our launch<br />

returns us to the city<br />

and our Farewell<br />

Dinner.<br />
