percent <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world’s population,<br />
we consume nearly one-quarter<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world’s energy. solutions<br />
to this demand that address <strong>the</strong><br />
dwindling supply <strong>of</strong> oil and o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
fossil fuels will alleviate more than<br />
<strong>the</strong> increasing financial toll <strong>of</strong> our<br />
consumption. Viable alternatives will<br />
help to mitigate an environmental<br />
issue that is compounding<br />
every day.<br />
Researchers at Armour College<br />
<strong>of</strong> engineering are meeting this<br />
