DEAR GRAHAM,
Let me thank you for your kind letter,
which reached me at the very moment of
starting from the Bagni di Lucca for Florence,
and only to-day could I find leisure to
scribble a Hue in reply, dating it from the
city of the Doges.
I am just returned (half
past one o'clock A. M.) from the Piazza and
