Country Walks
May walk
The relatively long journey to the starting
point in Spilsby was rewarded with
good weather and superb scenery.
The highest point on the walk provided
a panoramic view of Lincolnshire including
Boston Stump, Lincoln Cathedral,
the coastline and Wolds to the north.
Thanks to Paul and Coral Evans for
leading the walk.
Next walk is Saturday 1 st June
A walk in the Lincolnshire Limewoods
starting from the historic village of
Bardney and passing through Southrey
and Tupholme Abbey.
The walk is approx. 7 miles along village
paths, field paths, woodland rides
and quiet lanes which may be muddy
and uneven in places.
Walkers should meet at the village hall
at 9-30 am. Walkers are advised to take a waterproof coat, a snack, a drink
and wear suitable footwear.
If you wish to walk and need a lift, please meet at the village hall.
Everyone is welcome to join in this free and healthy activity.
Future walk is Saturday 6 th July.
