Country Walks<br />
May walk<br />
The relatively long journey to the starting<br />
point in Spilsby was rewarded with<br />
good weather and superb scenery.<br />
The highest point on the walk provided<br />
a panoramic view of <strong>Lincolnshire</strong> including<br />
Boston Stump, Lincoln Cathedral,<br />
the coastline and Wolds to the north.<br />
Thanks to Paul and Coral Evans for<br />
leading the walk.<br />
Next walk is Saturday 1 st <strong>June</strong><br />
A walk in the <strong>Lincolnshire</strong> Limewoods<br />
starting from the historic village of<br />
Bardney and passing through Southrey<br />
and Tupholme Abbey.<br />
The walk is approx. 7 miles along village<br />
paths, field paths, woodland rides<br />
and quiet lanes which may be muddy<br />
and uneven in places.<br />
Walkers should meet at the village hall<br />
at 9-30 am. Walkers are advised to take a waterproof coat, a snack, a drink<br />
and wear suitable footwear.<br />
If you wish to walk and need a lift, please meet at the village hall.<br />
Everyone is welcome to join in this free and healthy activity.<br />
Future walk is Saturday 6 th July.<br />
