3.08 Forty gold medals are presented to <strong>the</strong> winning team and 40 silver medals to <strong>the</strong><br />

runner-up. 40 bronze medals are presented to <strong>the</strong> defeated semi-finalists.<br />

Additional medals may not be produced.<br />

Responsibilities<br />

Article 4<br />

Responsibilities <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> associations<br />

4.01 The associations are responsible for <strong>the</strong> behaviour <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir players, <strong>of</strong>ficials,<br />

members, supporters and anyone carrying out a function at a match on <strong>the</strong>ir<br />

behalf.<br />

4.02 The association in <strong>the</strong> territory <strong>of</strong> which a qualifying match or <strong>the</strong> final tournament<br />

is being staged is considered <strong>the</strong> host association.<br />

4.03 The host association is responsible for order and security before, during and after<br />

<strong>the</strong> match. The host association may be called to account for incidents <strong>of</strong> any kind<br />

and may be disciplined.<br />

4.04 Matches must, in principle, be played in a stadium within <strong>the</strong> territory <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> host<br />

association. Exceptionally, matches may be played in <strong>the</strong> territory <strong>of</strong> ano<strong>the</strong>r <strong>UEFA</strong><br />

member association, if so decided by <strong>the</strong> <strong>UEFA</strong> administration and/or <strong>the</strong><br />

disciplinary bodies, for reasons <strong>of</strong> safety or as a result <strong>of</strong> a disciplinary measure.<br />

Additional responsibilities for <strong>the</strong> final tournament<br />

4.05 The <strong>UEFA</strong> administration informs <strong>the</strong> associations participating in <strong>the</strong> final<br />

tournament about any fur<strong>the</strong>r guidelines, directives or decisions related to <strong>the</strong> final<br />

tournament and provides <strong>the</strong>m with all relevant documents in due time.<br />

Insurance<br />

Article 5<br />

General principles<br />

5.01 Everyone involved in <strong>the</strong> competition (qualifying competition and final tournament)<br />

is responsible for its own insurance cover.<br />

5.02 The participating associations are responsible for and undertake to conclude all<br />

necessary and adequate insurance cover for <strong>the</strong>ir delegations, including players<br />

and <strong>of</strong>ficials, at <strong>the</strong>ir own expense for <strong>the</strong> whole duration <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> competition.<br />

5.03 The host association is solely responsible for <strong>the</strong> insurance cover <strong>of</strong> all sites used<br />

for <strong>the</strong> competition, including stadium, facilities and <strong>of</strong>ficial zones. If <strong>the</strong> host<br />

association is not <strong>the</strong> owner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> stadium used, it is also responsible for ensuring<br />
